November 8th began this journey with Leukemia and of my hospital stay. I came in with pretty good spirits. Met MANY nice, friendly, cheerful staff members. I love everyone of them! The attending physician, Dr Williams came in and ask me what my understanding of what was about to take place was, I told him. He proceeded to tell be the blunt truth to having chemotherapy. Needless to say it rocked my world again. Back to indecision. I cried a lot and prayed a lot.
November 9th - I decided to go through with the Chemotherapy. I decided that was my part, and now God can continue working on my healing. As of 12:37 PM they have not started the chemo, but I am sure it will come soon. My spirit is resting in God and His promises. This Journey has not been easy, and I am sure the next couple of weeks will be difficult. But, God will make me strong when I am weak, He will be the lifter of my head, and I WILL rise up on wings as eagles!!
I covet all your prayers and am sure I will need much encouragement as my blood levels drop. But only for a season! God is my HEALER!!
I am in room B6/626 and my phone number is 608-267-8494. Feel free to call! I will let you know if I am not up to talking. Next week they say will be when I will feel the affects of the Chemo. So............
I miss all of my friends and family and am anxious to get well and home. Julie and I will keep you all posted on what is happening!
P.S. They started my Chemo at 12:50 PM.

"A CarePages website is a customized, personal web page designed to help provide communication between family and friends during a health event, including pregnancy and delivery, hospitalization or long-term care. The CarePages website is created and updated by the patient or loved one of the patient, and it is used to build a support community around the patient. The CarePages website displays updates on the patient's condition, photos posted by the CarePages website Manager, additional healthcare information and a message board for visitors to leave messages of support."
