WAKE & FUNERAL DETAILS
The wake will be held on Monday, June 22nd from 3pm - 8pm. The funeral is Tuesday, June 23rd at 11am. Both will be held at Christian Life Fellowship in Port Edwards, WI. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, monetary contributions would be gladly appreciated.

My father, Therman Billman, was born February 15th, 1948. He grew up in Plainfield, WI and later moved to Nekoosa to raise his family -- Robert, Jacinda, and the twins Dawn and Dori (that's me).
You may know Therman through his active role in the church as a devout Christian. Or perhaps you've called him "The Donut King" during the many years he worked as a welder at the paper mills in Nekoosa and Port Edwards.
Since November 2007, my dad has been fighting leukemia. When he was first diagnosed, he was undecided about whether or not to get treatment. He had watched his own father suffer and eventually die from this terrible cancer. Despite the knowledge of what he was about to go through, he opted for chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. He did that not for himself, but for all of us who love him.
My dad's courage has kept him with us until now. After two brain hemorrhages in the last couple of weeks, he is ready to go home to God. We know he wouldn't have had the strength or will to come this far without Jesus, his family and friends, and especially his wife, Julie. She has been with him every step of the way, never giving up or giving in through all of the hospital stays, emergency trips to the doctor, endless blood transfusions, medications, surgeries, long drives, and sleepless nights.
It is with a profound sense of loss and sadness that I now prepare myself for my dad to pass away. He is a great man, a faithful servant to God, and the best father I could have ever wished for. We appreciate all your prayers and thoughts.
